yeast infection and men?

I have a new boyfriend and after making love to him without a condom I have a yeast infection (candida). I have had it before but not past few months and it is strange that it flurished right after making love to him without a condom – so I don’t know if it is mine that reacted to his flora or it is him who has it (the doctor doesn’t know either). He doesn’t have any red spots and doesn’t look swallen. As it is a new relationship, I am afraid to tell him to put cream on…I am afraid of how he will react. Usually men react badly to such kind of things… Do you think if I get treated it will be all ok? I hope that he didn’t get it from me, as he doesn’t show any symptoms…Please help me!
we are going on holiday next week and I don’t want this to spoil everything. I am cured and 6 days of cream won’t change a big deal for him…or will it? what do I do? ((
