well those monistat inserts the one shaped like an egg worked for me, it was a three day treatment i believe, and after a few days it was completly gone. also eating yogurt and drinking cranberry juice helps keep you clean and your bactiria regulating. especialy the yogurt helps kill the bad bactiria and keep the good bactiria in. good luck!

if you did all of that then it should be gone unless you are lying about being a virgin that dont sound right to me

use whatthe doctor tells you, use cotton underwear – no thongs, and – I know this sounds gross, but put plain yogurt on your -you know.

Has your doctor discussed why you keep getting these infections? Best bet would be to avoid whatever’s causing you this problem. Meanwhile, try homemade joghurt (not the processed supermarket kind). It has always helped my sister.

Check out http://www.hufa.org – the yeast link. If you have a yeast syndrome showing up as vaginitis then this info might help.

Short term – start eating non-sweetened, low fat no fruit yogurt. The bacteria in yogurt is the natural enemy of the yeast (candida) fungus.

try drinking LOTS of fresh water, i get this when i dont drink water.

Start taking acidopholus and lots of it. Seriously. I can’t use the monistat inserts, and the acidopholus works on it. Cutting down the processed carbs in your diet helps because yeast feeds off of it. Also take vitamin C or a multivitamin with C in it to bolster your immune system. Acidopholus is found in yogurt, pills (that’s the easiest and you can’t take too much) and there’s acidopholus milk too. Topical stuff isn’t going to do it. Antibiotics can trigger a yeast infection, so can certain soaps, and heavy fragrances like the kind you find in some detergents, dryer sheets etc. Good luck! I know they suck.

Have you told the doctor the treatments don’t help?

You can try eating Yogurt (the plain one). Yogurt helps balance your bacteria levels.
Some women are prone to frequent yeast infections and the yogurt does help.

Oh, and NEVER douche with something like this. It will drive the infection up into your system.

MRSP27: Women and girls can get yeast infections whether they’re virgins or not. It is NOT an STD. I had my first Yeast infection when I was a virgin.

I don’t suggest that you use a douche since it gets rid of both the godd and bad bacteria…wearing cotton underwear could help you since it allows the vagina to breathe better than other types. Also, it sometimes helps when your clothing such as your jeans aren’t to tight as this may also cause infection. The youghurt and cranberry juice is a great idea, aslo you should drink lots of water. A nurse once told me to try washing the area with Betadine scrub to reduce the yeast as well.Good luck

You said you aren’t sure you’re putting it in the right place? The applicator treatment goes in your vagina. Make sure that’s where you’re putting it. Keep seeing the doctor till this gets cleared up.

If you used the medication correctly, the yeast infection should be gone. If it isn’t you need to go back to the doctor so she is aware that it isn’t gone or check for something else. Diabetics have a problem with yeast infections when their sugar is too high. Your MD may want to check for diabetes.

You should be wearing cotton undies, washing yourself ‘down there’ with just water. Washing too much or using soap can kill off the good bacteria that keep yeast and other organisms in check.

You can eat yogurt but do not put it on/in/or near your vagina.

Try eating differently. Less fruits and sugars. My Dr told me to stay away from pickles during my period. I know some birth control pills contribute to the access yeast so if you’re on the pill, maybe think about switching. But def change your deit and no sugars!
