Thrush/balanitis, or male yeast infection question?

I am a circumcised male, and i think i may have thrush/balanitis. If I have it, is it possible for the infection to begin on the underside of my penis, and then slowly spread to the crease between my leg and my genitalia, and then to my testicle?
Also, would there be a stench to it? Thank you very much.
It sounds more like a thrush infection. If its spread that much then you should really get it seen by a doctor;
