So I have one and its the worst imaginable pain ever. There are so many fallacies about it, it wasn’t brought on by sex… just happens.. hormones maybe, time of the month, who knows. But for all you ladies who’ve had one, how did you find relief? I’m going to see my doc tomorrow to get the cream but I need to know how to get temp relief so that I can sleep!
I’m talking about AT HOME REMEDIES. I can’t go to the pharmacy right now, it’s closed.

monistat!
Monistat, they have a combination package that works great. A three day internal cream (which if you get something from the doctor you can save it for another time), an external soothing cream, and cooling wipes. For tonight, use the wipes and the external cream. That should help the itch and help you to sleep. Also maybe take a benadryl.
You could try putting an ice pack on it… it could help. I know when I get kind of en-flamed or its sensitive that helps me.
Oats in the bathtub will help also.
Plain yogurt amd leave it there over night.
Try baking soda in the bathtub… it helps my baby with his yeast-y diaper rashes, and I know it’s really good for itchy, irritated skin. Couldn’t hurt!!!
i agree, plain yogurt works pretty well, drink some unsweetened cranberry juice. yeast infections usually come from consuming too many sweets and starch.
If you have cloves of garlic, cut it apart and insert a clove in your vagina.. it is going to burn like yanno what but it WILL relieve the itching and burning. Garlic is a natural antibiotic. I’ve used this many times before and it’s such a relief it’s like it "burns" away the itch. Good Luck.
(leave it in for about 10 min)
Here are some steps to take to cure yeast infection naturally:
1)Drink at least six glasses of water each day. Water helps to remove toxins
2)Aloe Vera Juice twice per day is very good for detoxifying the body from all infections including vaginal yeast infection because it strengthens the immune system.
3)Mix one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with water and drink it. This kills all the bad bacteria in the body and you can even lose weight in the process. Don’t do this more than 1 to 3 times per week.
4)Eat yogurt on a daily basis. It contains the good kind of bacteria, Lactobacillus Acidolhylus , that is found in the body.
5)Take acidophilus or bifidus pills each day. This helps to encourage the good bacteria in the body. Make sure you keep these pills stored in a refrigerator for freshness.
6)Take Vitamin C tablets daily. This helps to build the immune system to protect it against infections. The Vitamin C and Acidophilus tablets when taken, naturally produces hydrogen peroxide in the body and strengthens to fight infection even more.
7)Make sure you consult your doctor if you are taking prescription drugs
8)Drink Alka Seltzer in water once each day for about 3 or 5 days
9)Drink some cranberry juice each day. Don’t add any sweetener.
10)Eat raw cranberries, if you can
11)Cranberry AZO pills are also good to take during the yeast infection period
12)Take a hot Sitz bath to relieve the itching. Fill up the bath with water and drop 5 tablespoons tea tree oil in the bath water and sit in the bath tub for about 15 minutes and no longer.
Below are some good sources that I found to be helpful to get rid of my yeast infection and it never came back again.
