post partial thyroidectomy health issues?

I’m a 39yo male who had a recent partial thyoidectomy with no cancer found. A few weeks after the surgery I began having "hot flashes", feeling tired all the time, and anal itching/burning which i’m not sure is a yeast infection or not. Do any of these symptoms sound related to thyroid issues following surgery? Should I get my thyroid levels checked?
symptoms of hypothyroidism can be very vague so it is possible that the thyroid tissue you have left isn’t making enough hormone. you would probably benefit from having some blood work done to see if this is the case. if it is, Your doctor will most likely prescribe a thyroid hormone pill and that will usually take care of things.
