I have a yeast infection that i contracted through my wife which is pregnant.What is the best more effective way to cure it….im a male and uncircumsised and its itchy and red, foreskin wont go all the way back without hurting like crazy and i have small cold sore like cuts….please help….my wife brought me vagisil anti itch but i dont know that its doing anything.
Yeast infections of the forskin are often itchy, sore and inflamed, and superficial splits in the skin are common.
Get an antifungal cream from the chemist, and use it twice a day. Keep using it for at least a few days after the symptoms resolve. Most creams used for treating athlete’s foot work fine. The ones containing clotrimazole 1% or miconazole 2% work best on penile thrush.
Anti itch creams will only temporarily reduce the symptoms – at best.
Talk to your pharmacist if you are not sure which cream is best for your condition.

It is probably not a yeast infection due to the sores and pain, and if the vagisil is not working its a sign u should go get that checked asap.. i had one and i though it was a std but my doctor explained that yeast infections have no pain or sores.. she prescribed an ati itch cream same as vagisil and it was gone in a week.
From you saying that you have cold sore like cuts it sounds like herpes-sorry.
You should go to the doctors to be sure though.
If you have got herpes, you need to think about just how you eneded up with it??
Have you been sleeping around??? has your wife????
