Is rice good for my dogs?

Hi guys, I have 2 adorable male labs and I feed them a mix of white rice and jo-jo (chunks) dog food once everyday.
One of them has re-occurring yeast infection, which i treat with equal parts of vinegar and water every other day. I also put some drops of it in his ear. But the infection is so bad that if I don’t treat him with it for like 3 days, it comes back worse and i have to start all over again.
My other dog doesnt have a yeast infection but they both itch badly. I bathe them once in 2 weeks and they have their regular shots from the vet.
i don’t want to go the vet because when the yeast infection started, it went on for like 6 weeks or more and the vet couldn’t figure out what it was. He tried about 4 different medications that worked temporarily and finally didn’t know what to do. I got the apple cider vinegar treatment from the internet and it seemed to work ok.
what i don’t know is whether their diet is wrong. I don’t know what to do. could you please give me ideas on what they can eat if their diet is wrong or what i can apply on their skins for both the yeast infection and itchy skin.

Rice is fine for dogs. As you know, alot of dogs store bought foods are made up of a lamb and rice formula. As for the yeast infection, does your dog get into any type water daily? For instance, a creek, a pool, a pond, etc..?? My mom had a dog who kept a yeast infection and dry skin due to it getting in her pool daily and swimming. Otherwise, I just don’t know and you may want to see the vet. I would at least try taking them off the rice for a couple of weeks and see what happens with their skin and infection problems. It can’t hurt. As for the vinegar treatment, I would continue using what ever worked and gave both them and me relief. If this work, then by no means stop using it. Some of the best remedies are home remedies if you ask me!! Good luck to you and your labs!!
