Some woman have vaginal yeast infections regularly after they have a baby and or before having a baby. The best thing for you to do is treat the infections with some vaginal cream. If you do not treat the yeast infection it can get worst and developed into Bacteria Vagnoisis. You would need to take an antibiotic to cure this infection. So the best thing to do is treat the yeast ASAP. Oh one more thing, eat allot of yogurt.

The infection will not go away until treated, but if you are asking if the chance of having an infection decreases than yes.

No, actually it may effect the baby when it is born. Not likely but it can (ex.like it’s eyes). The doctor can give medication to insert vaginally before the baby is born to get rid of the yeast infection, you don’t have to wait until it is born.

I would imagine that it doesn’t just disappear. I would think that the doctor would treat it after delivery, or maybe even during pregnancy. I don’t know how safe that is. Due to hormonal and other changes in the body, one might be less likely to get more vaginal yeast infections, but probably not able to just cure it. If left untreated for a long, long, time, yeast can contribute to pelvic inflamatory disease. It’s best for that women to speak with a doctor to discuss treatment options that would be safe for the baby.

No it does not. The pregnant woman needs to be treated for each yeast infection that she gets during her pregnancy.
