Candidiasis Or Yeast Infections. Any Women who can relate and reply would help! ?

For most of my life I can remember always having a yeast infection. I never got treated for it at a young age because I thought it would go away, I didn’t know what it was at the time. My father was also the type to not take you to a doctor IE drink OJ and eat chickennoodel and you’ll be fine.

But lately I’m getting really tired of it. It seems as if in the past year I can’t go at least an hr or two with having to change my panties. I feel really disgusting all over my body. I know yeast infections have a certain smell and I’m concerned that my clothes jeans and panties are being stained with this infection.

I’ve tried watching my sugar in take and all the over the counter meds and doctor meds as well.

Anyone have a similar situation? Or have any tricks I can try to reduce or possibly stop this? I feel like i’m in a never ending war.

Candidiasis and yeast infections are one and the same. Darkness, moisture and heat promote yeast / fungus infection.
Yeast infections usually are treated with an antifungal cream or suppository, such as miconazole (Monistat) and clotrimazole (Gyne-Lotrimin). Yeast infections may also be treated with an oral antifungal medication, such as fluconazole (Diflucan). The advantages of over-the-counter treatment for a yeast infection are convenience, cost and not having to wait to see your doctor. The catch is you may be treating something other than a yeast infection. It’s possible to mistake a yeast infection for other types of vaginitis or other conditions that need different treatment. Using the wrong medicine may delay a proper diagnosis and the most appropriate treatment, and can lead to complications.

Yogurt contains good bacteria that greatly reduces candida. The problem is eating it doesn t provide you with enough. I take acidophillus tablets every day. They can be bought in any health store and contain a lot more good bacteria than yogurt. They make a big difference, not the cure all, but a big difference. If I take these, I often find the infection gone within 12 hours.

Oh I absolutely relate to your problem! I’ve had candidiasis since 12 years now:( I’m 28 yrs old. And its hell..i itch all the time, if its not itching then its burning. In fact its not in the vagina only, its caught my right labia since years now, and taht itches like crazy. In fact i’ve been scratching it so much all these years taht my right labia has lost shape, its kinda putty like and the color is gray instead of normal color:( I dont even wear underwear when i’m home so i can air it. The only difference being, i did take medicines for it, orally as well as vaginally but didnt help. To top that, i dont even have diabetes, i dont take meds which would cause this..i am not immunocompromised..nothing!
I workout, though i’m not overweight. Its a vicious cycle, livin day in and day out with it.
I’m even embarrased to show my genitals to the doctor now because my right labia looks like s***.
To tell you frankly, i dunno waht to do myself, but i do identify with you. If you come up with a permanent solution, i’d love to know myself.
    Take care.
