Can yeast infections indicate that a guy is sleeping with other women too?

Right now I have a yeast infection, i’m not too happy with it, and i’m certain on where I got it from. I haven’t had sex in nearly half a year, and even though between that time I DID happen to have a yeast infection from my clothes, it went away with treatment.
However, after when I was with this one guy i’m casually seeing recently, I suddenly got a yeast infection. This is the first guy i’ve been in contact with sexually in half a year, and I haven’t done anything else with anyone in between. He tells me that he hasn’t done anything with any other girls in a while either, but i’m not too certain if he’s telling me the truth. He proclaims himself as a swinger, yet "doesn’t do anything". So does this mean that he could have a yeast infection himself with sleeping with other women and is infecting me, or can it just happen naturally? I’m not sure, I hear so many stories from people, but I want a correct answer if it’s possible or not. Thanks!

You can get a yeast infection from the sudden change in your vaginal secretions. It does NOT indicate that the guy you’re seeing has been sleeping with anyone else.
However, since you’ve been seeing this guy "casually" I would strongly urge you to get in to see a doctor; it may not be a yeast infection at all, but rather a more serious infection (BV) which IS often considered an STD. If you weren’t using condoms, you could find yourself in a LOT of trouble.
Get checked…better safe than sorry.
Guys can get yeast infections and not know it…
Yes it could be..or he is not clean down in that area..
If you’re having a casual relationship, you should be using condoms. If you did get a yeast infection from him, which is possible, but not likely, you’re damn lucky if that’s all you got. You gotta do the condom if you don’t want nasty diseases, some of which are permanent and life changing.
It can just happen especially if you have been on antibiotics recently. But then sometimes you just get them. I would be very careful with anyone who says they are a swinger yet does nothing. Sounds like someone is blowing some major smoke! He could have an STD and not even know it and unfortunately pass it on to you.
Hi girl. boys can have yeast infection from sexual intercourse other wise chances of getting it is very less.
if you have infection you should take treatment.
i dont think so, my sister gets them sometimes,
Dont take bubble baths
Dont use store douches
Make douches homemade
Wipe with aloe vera or olive oil.
This could just be u, drink more cranberry and eat yogurt.
Don’t jump the gun on this guy… I have been married for 15yrs and never had a yeast infection. All of the sudden boom, I got a real bad one. Yeast infections are very normal for woman to get… and easy to get. Yes, you could have caught it from him, but he didn’t have to get it from another woman to have a yeast infection. Chances are tho that you just got it. You can get one very easily if you are doing something to heat that area up. For example, you began wearing a girdle or underwear that doesn’t breathe.. you started sleeping in a water bed with the heat up too high… You also can get yeast infections from using antibiotics… a lot of woman get them when the become pregnant… You can get one from wearing a tampon too long… You can get one if you are eating too many foods high in yeast… There are so many ways a woman can get a yeast infection that the chances are pretty good that you just got one… period. You can ‘inspect’ him if you like… you can see yeast on him if he has the infection, but most likely you have just done something recently to bring it on. Have him use protection until you are sure you have gotten rid of it as you can pass it to him.
I hope this helped… hang in there… as a side note… if this guy is proclaiming to be a swinger-a yeast infection is the least of your worries. Make him wear protection until you know him long enough to trust that he isn’t screwing around. Good Luck!!

Chanses are small, but if you know him for a short time, why aren’t you using condoms? You can get a bigger problem than yeast infection.
It can be just from the fact that your vaginal flora wasn’t disturbed for 6 months and suddenly something changed. Don’t accuse him, but act responsible. And figure out what’s up with the swinger part.
