I know yeast infections are common in pregnant women(hopefully this is what is happening in my case) My Doc appt isn’t until jul 12. Just wondering if this can be caused by taking clomid.

I saw the other person’s response that read No and I disagree. This is my third try with Clomid (not consecutively) and I have a yeast infection AGAIN. This is the second or third time that this has happened to me. So, whether it’s recognized or not, it seems to happen to me as well. ALSO, I’ve seen that a lot of medical professionals are saying that yeast infection treatments (creams, diflucan, etc.) do not interfer with conception, what they fail to elaborate on is the condition of the vaginal mucus DOES. Sperm does not do well in a highly acidic or "thick" environment. They need to swim in a thin clear mucus. So, in my UNprofessional opinion from all that I have read, I think yes, the Clomid is effecting your vaginal mucus (maybe through drastic or quick changes in your homones and your body is trying to balance that out and creating too much yeast…i dunno) So, I believe (again, I’ve never seen a doctor agree with this theory) that yes, Clomid can indirectly cause a yeast infection.

I do know for a fact that because of the same reason listed above (horomones) it is not unusual for a pregnant woman to have a yeast infection. However, I would not say that it is a symptom or common. It kind of just happens sometimes.
