Why: Yeast is naturally occuring, and it helps keep the vagina clean. When the vagina is irritated, or foreign substances get in it, the yeast work overtime, so to speak, to cleanse it, and voila! … there is overgrowth, and thus a yeast infection.
Go to the regular pharmacy like CVS, Target, etc. and get the three day inserts to treat a yeast infection if you’re sure it’s yeast. They work better than the one day treatments, and aren’t as annoying as the seven day treatments.
why do women get yeast infections "down there" is because it is the perfect spot for the fungus to grow, its warm, damp, dark…
i have heard of women trying to get rid of it by eating plain yogurt but the best way to get rid of it is to see a doctor
I think its due to an imbalance with the natural ph of the vaginal fluid or similar. Live yoghurt is known to combat candida (thrush). Don’t eat it, apply to the parts affected. Other than that, try Canesten by Bayer.

Do you wear tight clothes…do you wear silk underwear…your "stuff" may not be getting enough air. Make sure you wear cotton panties and not too tight clothes. The weather is getting warmer which will make you very moist downstairs. Yeast lives off of moisture. I would go to the doctor if you getting yeast infections back to back. If you are sexually active it could be your boyfriend who’s giving it to you. He may have it… a man can never can tell when they have a "yeast infection". That could be the problem; and if it is take him to the doctor with you. But…if that’s not it. Get the monistat 3 day or 7 day treatment.
And….if you like yogurt…eat plenty of that.
go to the pharmacy and get monistat….that makes yeast infections go away……..if it doesnt help then u need to go to the dr to see whats really wrong……………they sell it over the counter
