How do I deal with health issues related to stress?

I am a 33 y/o male and am dealing with several physical symtoms I believe are related to stress. I suffer from the obvious issues of low-energy, body pains, a sudden onset of allergies, constant diarrhea, anxiety, etc. I have been on every medication including Prozac, Wellbutrin, Lexapro, Cymbalta, etc. None were very effective and most usually had horrific side-effects.

After suffering through the awful withdrawls associated with Effexor, and trying all these different meds over the span of 10 years, I decided enough was enough. Instead I chose to fight this battle without meds. My mind is healing, but my body is still suffering. I have learned how to compensate with the majority of my issues, but I believe my body is producing a chemical that is causing me problems. Some have said it is Cortisol, but I’m not sure. The reason I believe this is because I am dealing with a seemingly constant rectal itching and seemingly endless outbreaks of almost athlete’s foot-type itching on my right hand, in the creases between my thighs and pubic area and on my feet. The itching is severe and unbearable. It may even be a type of recurring yeast-like infection. I also have miniscule white flecks in my stool.

These symptoms began almost immediately following an extremely stressful event that occured in my life approximately 13yrs ago that has led to long, drawn-out battle with depression and have continued, unabated since then. I have been to counseling and have discussed some of these issues with my doctor, but have not had any success. My question is, is there a possibility that my body is producing a chemical that is causing these symptoms and is there anything I can do to stop them?

Try to do some sport. Control your sleep. Sleep is very important. So you have to have at least 8 hours of good productive sleep every night, so don’t drink caffeine contained drinks after 2 PM. In order to promote sleep try Valerian Root. It is over the counter remedy, you can obtain it at any pharmacy or health products store.
    Good luck.

Okay hello they re and im sorry for what you are going threw im sorta going threw the same things but im only 16 and boy this sure is a tough battle and im just beginning.Anyways i just recommend you to tell your psychiatrist (if you have one) to give you a specialized blood test,Like for your depression cause if these things in your body you think are developing then it may not come from your mind but something in your body.Just tell him for a specialized blood test they should have one they have them in New York but doctors don’t really offer you them cause they just want you to be in medications and be off with it,when really your depression can be cause by something else and have the proper medication to cure it.i also think you should see your doctor for a gull check up,just to be sure here.Keep doing what your doing get busy in life, you know have a girlfriend or a wife, start a family, and if you think your hopeless, well your not.Think about starting a family and think whatever you have you don’t want your kids to have and if you don’t have a good life try to make theirs they re best as possible, and maybe they can change yours.you never know how life will turn out but once you go threw the worst, the best will come.Think of your life as a mission to success no matter how much you suffer just think about that somebody out there wished he had your life cause his or hers is 10x worst.Don’t look at the things you don’t have but just make the best out of what you have :) .Just remember, you can change at any time, anywhere, few small motivation words can make a big change, don’t listen to doctors they go by the book, you must go with your heart. You can have a better life bro,you really can.Good Luck
