What do I do if I'm going to the doctor with a yeast infection and I've just started my period?!!?

My mom made an appointment for me today…she’s at work so I can’t tell her I started…the flow is pretty heavy, even for the first day. I always wear pads because I’m only 14 and I don’t want to use tampons until I’m older.
I think the doctor might have to, um, use a swab or whatever because I tried treatment and it didn’t work…I’ll see what happens when my mom gets home in a couple of hours. I really want to get this sorted out, but it’s a male doctor…do you think there’s any way he would let me, um, get the evidence myself?
Please help, what do I do??

being fem you dont have to see a male doc, even use that as an escuse to see a doc tomorrow and your flow might be lighter then. but its fine to be bleeding, they just write that down on the form to be taken into account by the people who test it.
im sure hes seen it all before, just tell him your on your period and will it imprede the swabs or whatever.
im sure it wont be a problem.
there is nothing the doctor can do until you finish your menstruation. the doctor needs to take a sample of your vaginal fluid to confirm your infection. I am sorry to hear that.
