question for women who have had a yeast infection

my girlfriend is currently recovering from a yeast infection and she says that the pain is gone but she is left with a burning and itching sensation. this has been ongoing for the past 3 to 4 days and i was wondering if this type of occrance is normal and if it is how long it will last

It is indeed common there to be a little itching and burning following a yeast infection.I’d recommend that after a week of burning to contact a doctor.
