What are the signs and symptoms of a yeast infection.What is the difference between a yeast infection and vaginitis?What are the signs and symptoms of vaginitis?What exactly is vaginitis?How do you get rid of either one if you have the symptoms?

    vaginitis means "inflammation of the vagina" so in other words it could be many things pertaining to your vagina.
    w/ a yeast inf you have white discharge, itch, burn, redness.
    w/ bacterial vaginosis you would have the same symptoms but the d/c would be a gray/clear color and have a very very strong fishy smell.
    for the yeast inf you can treat it yourself over the counter, for the bacterial inf you need to see a dr and get antibiotics

    There is a great book with a lot information about yeast. It is "The Yeast Connection" This book change my life style. Now I understand what causes and triggers my over growth of yeast.
